Providing Health and Wellness services for Newcomers, Refugees and Immigrants
A Lunch & Learn session created for service providers and front line workers. This essential session is a collaborative effort with Umbrella Cooperative, Burnaby PCN, and MOSAIC, that will delve into the importance of cultural sensitivity when working with newcomer population (immigrants, refugees, newcomers from Ukraine under Canadian Ukrainian Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) and other immigration classes).
The cross-cultural communication aspect of the training aims to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge to enhance provider communication and care quality.
