A virtual session on CBT as a mental wellness tool

Intro to CBT for Teens is back with a second session!

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a technique anyone can use to change internal thinking patterns (the thoughts in our head). This can help to improve mood (how we are feeling). It is a way to be mindful and aware in order to manage anxiety, stress, and more.

Remote learning, lockdowns, and pandemic uncertainty has taken a unique toll on the mental wellbeing of young people.

Working together, the Burnaby Primary Care Networks, community organizations, and teens in Burnaby organized the b.well Youth Mental Health conference in May 2021. With this came a commitment to bringing more opportunities for teens to learn skills and tools to support mental health.

In this spirit, we hope you can join us for this session with Moving Forward. Register to learn what you can do to support your mental health!

This workshop is open to all school-age teens.
