Hosted by the Burnaby Division of Family Practice

BC Family Doctor Day is our annual opportunity to recognize the work of more than 6,000 Family Physicians who practice in communities across our province.

To mark this day, we will be gathering to acknowledge the Burnaby Family Physicians that serve our community. This year the Burnaby Division of Family Practice is hosting a community event on May 19th – and you are invited!

This event is an opportunity for us all to reflect on the commitment of Burnaby’s Family Physicians to their patients and community and to learn more about Primary Care in Burnaby. In Burnaby, our Family Physicians work in a variety of places in our community; such as Community longitudinal family practices and clinics, Walk-in Clinics, Long-term Care settings, in hospital, and at the Urgent and Primary Care Clinic in Edmonds. Let’s say Thank You together!

Meet Burnaby Family Physicians, grab dinner from a choice of two food trucks, and learn about how the Divisions of Family Practice are working to improve health services for the Burnaby community.

Don’t have a doctor? We will be hosting a registration table so you can sign up to be matched with a Burnaby Family Physician. Want to learn more about how Family Physicians in Burnaby are providing virtual care? Hear about all this and more on May 19!

Want to share your appreciation by video? Here is a virtual card where you can leave your message of thanks for Burnaby’s Family Physicians! CLICK HERE to record or upload a video.
