The Burnaby Community Fridge program provides something many people in our community need most — food. Fridges located in Burnaby neighbourhoods are stocked with free groceries by residents for residents. 

This program is coordinated by the Burnaby Primary Care Networks.

For community members in the Collingwood/Renfrew area. Showers and bagged breakfasts are available on Saturdays.  

Showers: Saturdays from 7:00 AM onwards.  
Breakfast: Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

Run by volunteers of the Task Force to End Homelessness in Burnaby, supported by the Society to End Homelessness. Thursday services include: an opportunity to meet outreach workers, a meal, harm reduction kits available upon request, and nurse practitioner services. Free wi-fi is available on the last Thursday of the month.

Shower services: Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

St. Stephen is a multicultural Anglican parish that aims to be a caring community, located near Lougheed Town Centre. 

Free hot meal served on the third Wednesday of the month for anyone who needs a meal or would like to connect with their neighbours. Vegan options are available. 

Dinner begins at 5:30 PM.

Grocery shopping by phone for Burnaby seniors. A volunteer will call to take your order and do your shopping for you. Groceries are delivered by City of Burnaby staff. 

Shopping Buddy 
Volunteers can support with grocery shopping. Shopping buddies can assist with HandyDART bookings to and from Brentwood, Lougheed Town Centre, or Metrotown Mall.
